Dentistry

Vision: Our vision is to work towards building a disease free and healthy community. We aim to provide provision of optimal oral health care to all sections of the society while maintaining highest standards of ethics. We also aim to maintain highest standards of excellence and professionalism in all aspects of patient centered practice. Research will be an integral part of our journey. Moreover, we plan to setup different specialties in dentistry and to provide postgraduate and fellowship programs under those specialties.

Mission: Our mission is to promote sustainable development of dental and allied health education. We also encourage patient education and creating awareness regarding dental problems. We strive our best to provide excellent treatment to all sections of the society. We plan and continuously provide excellent infrastructure, learning resources required for quality education and innovations. We will foster specialty training and research in all disciplines of oral health sciences.

Expansion planned for the future:

Clinical Services: We are planning to start all the disciplines of oral health sciences. Speciality clinics addressing specific disease will be in function. Separate sections for various specialty clinic. 3D scanner and printer also will be made available in the department.

Academics and teaching: We are planning to conduct conferences and CDE programmes of national and international level.

Research: Research programmes will be conducted which will explore new horizons of knowledge in all branches of dentistry. We are planning to do research on 3D imaging modalities, 3D scanner, 3D printer and Artificial Intelligence in orthodontics. Research will be carried out in the field of Periodontal Medicine, Biomarkers linking oral and Systemic health, Growth factors in Hard & Soft tissue Regeneration and Implants. Apart from this we are also planning for research on Revascularization and Revitalizations, Micro endodontics, Apical Root Cracks.
