MISSION STATEMENT:

The Department was established on 13 May 2022 with the joining of two experienced faculties Dr.Klein Dantis and Dr.Rahul Sharma. The Department at present is offering OPD services as well as exclusive Thoracic and Vascular surgery procedures. The procurement of a Heart-lung machine and advanced surgical equipment is underway and will be completed soon following which routine cardiac, minimally invasive, and complex procedures shall commence.

The Department will offer complex Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular procedures with gratifying results at par with the current international standards. The main focus of interest is to perform complex aortic reconstructive surgeries, thoracic organ transplantation, uniportal video-assisted as well as robotic-assisted uniportal surgeries with excellent outcomes.

SERVICES

Out patient Department (OPD)

Is currently located in the room number 1028 and 1029, ground floor, A block in the OPD building. The majority of the patients are referrals from adjoining areas of Punjab, Haryana and other states. The complex cardiac problems, unresolved vascular pathologies, lung sequale secondary to tuberculosis, malignancy, interstitial disease and chest deformities constitute most patients coming to the OPD.

In patient Department (IPD)

The patient requiring admission shall be admitted in the IPD block as per institution policy.

The department offers services through its experienced experts in treating people with all disorders affecting the heart, aorta, lung, mediastinum, blood vessel, trachea, and chest wall.

The team of specialists evaluates, counsels, ensures an accurate diagnosis and development of the most appropriate treatment plan.
