Introduction

Institute of Nursing Education & Research (INER), AIIMS Bathinda is to offer a postgraduate M.Sc. Nursing (2-year) course, against 25 sanctioned seats in different Specialities as follows:

2. Psychiatric Nursing
3. Paediatric Nursing
4. Medical-Surgical Nursing: Cardio-vascular & Thoracic nursing
5. Critical care Nursing
6. Oncology Nursing
7. Neurosciences Nursing
8. Nephro-Urology Nursing
9. Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing

Master of Science (M.Sc.) Nursing programs are meticulously structured to bridge the gap between advanced academic theory and transformative clinical practice. The first batch of postgraduate students in three specialties viz. Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Paediatric Nursing were admitted against sanctioned seats in the academic session 2025-27. Other specialties will be added in due course at AIIMS Bathinda. These programs are designed to provide comprehensive academic training, advanced clinical exposure, and opportunities for translational and evidence-based research guided by a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members committed to excellence in teaching.
